Biography: Both Frank and Nancy Tichy are full-time missions consultants and co-directors of the Center for World Mission. We work with pastors and mission leaders of various denominational and non-denominational groups. Part of our work includes coordinating and teaching a 15-week course on world mission in various cities in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, the Inland Empire. (The geographic area is very large, hence, "Empire.") Nancy conducts workshops nationally with church children's leaders. Frank's field ministry is to contact church leaders. Ours is one of about ten national regional office of the US Center for World Mission, Pasadena, CA. The goal is to share the message of Jesus especially with the nearly 10,000 "people groups,"(distinct culture and language,) where the Church has not taken root under national leadership. Progress is encouraging. Through the work of thousands of churches, mission agencies and prayer centers world-wide, there are only about 150!
0 groups without "advocates" for missions activity. Frank was privileged to make several trips to Mongolia and Siberia working with the "Jesus Film" Project. The film has been translated into nearly 700 languages and shown to nearly one billion people. (Mongolia is now a "reached" people whereas in 1991 there were less than ten Christian believers.)
