Biography: After teaching art at ACS from 1980-82, I went to Spain and taught at the American School in Madrid. I returned to the states in late 1984 and made a career shift into "institutional development" (aka fundraising), as director of corporate and foundation relations in higher education. This past summer I quit my job in that capacity for the Harvard Graduate School of Education and went on a ten-week bicycle trip across northern U.S. and Ontario with my husband, his sister and brother in law and other friends. It was a wonderful experience, and another indication of how much I like adventure.
