Biography: The usual: ACS, university, grad-school, engineering etc. But in 1992 I had the priveledge of returning to Liberia, where I worked in the humanitarian aid sector until 1998. Though wonderful to be back in the country of my (our) youth, it was also a painful experience to see the terrible destruction caused by the war - and as most wars, a senseless drama as a quest for power destroyed countless lives. I was again in Monrovia in april of 2000, where a quiet seemed to have returned, though I must say that something remains rotten in what could be such a wonderful country. So much potential, held hostage by a few, which seems to persist until today... Currently living with my family in Jerusalem, managing the funds for the provision of humanitarian assitance to the Palestinian population - a most complicated part of the world.
