Biography: I left Monrovia in 1975 and went to Lebanon & started college at the American University of Beirut. The civil wae broke out, and I left in 1976, stopped in Monrovia for awhile, then came to East Lansing, Michigan & did my undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. Ran into Sherry Cooper there. I then went on to medical school and residency training in Family Practice.

In 1986 I married Omayya Najd (ACS graduate 1978). After residency training in Pontiac, Michigan we moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan and started practicing here. I am in a group practice and also do ER work. We have 4 daughters: Amira 16, Nadine 12, Yasmeen 9, and Carina 20 months.
